What’s new in Kinovea 0.9.3#

Combined release notes for Kinovea 0.9.2 and 0.9.3, published in June and July 2020.

Player#

  • enhancement More memory can be allocated for cache memory.

  • fix File names with characters not present in the system default code page were not supported.

  • fix Zooming was broken in some corner cases.

  • fix Manually moving the frame tracker all the way to the left was broken for some videos.

Measurement#

  • enhancement The linear Coordinate system now responds in real time to changes in the calibration object. This means it can be used for rotated systems without using the Grid tool for calibration.

  • enhancement The lens distortion calibration tool is now interactive and can be used for approximate manual calibration.

  • fix Importing time origin from KVA files could yield wrong value.

  • fix Converting data of Trajectory objects from files created in version 0.8.15 was broken.

  • feature Added support for Daheng Imaging cameras.

  • feature New Retroactive recording mode that records to memory and then saves the buffer at once.
