Is it possible to use the magnify tool and save the video with the specific area zoomed in? I tried a couple of times, but each time I've tried the video doesn't save the magnified area that I have selected. Thanks in advance.

This issue was solved recently and is available from version 0.8.8 forward.
You can get the latest experimental version from the pinned thread in the General forum (currently 0.8.9).
