Hello,
How do I start recording from two cameras at the same time?
How do I overlay a time counter (date and time) on the recorded video?
Thanks

It would be helpful if you described what cameras you are using? To start two cameras in sync at the same time, I believe you will need a remote trigger tied into both cameras.
An alternate way to do it would be to use Kinovea to sync up the frames. I haven't tried this, but you should be able to do it following these general steps:
1. Start each camera in sequence (resulting in 2+ sec delay on second camera).
2. Record video
3. Copy video to computer for analysis.
4. Open two playback screens (View, Two Playback Screens)
5. Open one video in the left screen and the second in the right.
6. Select a starting frame on the first video. Play the second video up to that point and pause it, using the controls under the respective window.
7. Use the Common Controls at the bottom to play the videos in sync.
8 Option: Set a working zone in each video sycn'ed by frames.
Another method would be to capture video from two USB or other cameras. I am experimenting with this using two PS3 Eyes but the computer specs required seem pretty high.
Good luck and let us know how it goes.
