Hi there,

I'm using Kinovea 0.9.1.

I've been having inconsistent issues setting the start of a Working Zone for video clips. It does seems to work for some videos but not for others.

When it is not working, it will go through the Processing Images screen but when I play the video after that, it goes back to the original start point. It happens when using single screen or dual screen. I tried to work around it with the dual screen by syncing the videos the current frame I wanted but it flipped to the original start frame again.

Not sure why I'm having this issue!

I have got same issue.
I've set The working zone slider from 0 to 4859.
Popup window with progress bar showed up. When the progress barr was fulfilld, popup deisapeard and the working zone slider was back to 0 position.

One more thing.
It looks like the issue occurrs only when caching is being made. (I do not know hot this software works, but I see this dependence).
I have opened different file.
I've set The working zone slider from 0 to 3063. The progress bar did not show up. In the log file I saw that there is no log: Switching decoding mode. PreBuffering -> Caching ... and in this case everything looks correct - the working zone slider stayed at position which I set (3063).

In some video files I reported this issue and in other files the issue does not exist.
In the topic Unable to save I showed this two different file. Maybe it will help to find source of the issue.
