I recently bought a  MER2-160-227U3M Daheng Imaging camera for using for golf analysis. I cannot get the proper Plugin or it does not recognize the camera when opening the Kinovea program? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The plugins tend to be specific in the version of Kinovea they work with, for now. If you are using version 2024.1 I would suggest to use the GenICam plugin: https://www.kinovea.org/en/forum/viewtopic.php?id=2005

Thanks Joan! this worked like magic! Now I have to figure out how to work the camera the best on its settings.

You can start with this:
- Stream format = "Mono" or "Mono8"
- Exposition = 4405 µs or lower. (1000000 / 227)

Also for Daheng apparently sometimes the camera has a default bit depth at 10 bits which limits the max frame rate, for this you need to go in the Galaxy Viewer and change the setting for "SensorBitDepth" to "Bpp8".
